Right: Only known surviving Sage 1 acquired by MoTET. It came without the switch. The switch shown here is part of the restoration. A better matching switch is still being sought. The case is entirely metal.

Novel and incredibly simple display system: Incandescent bulbs, lying behind masks, are soldered in, not socketed, into the board behind (seen as green through the four holes at the bottom of photo. It is an incredibly simple system, but a servicing nightmare once the bulbs start burning out.
